The 90th anniversary of the UNAM football program will be celebrated in a big way with the 2nd International University Bowl on August 12 at the Olympic Stadium.
Pumas CU, runner-up of the ONEFA League, will collide with the Europe Warriors conformed with players from 11 different countries: Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Finland, Turkey, Denmark, Poland, USA, Canada and Mexico.

“We must be proud of this type of commemorations,” said Rivera. “90 years is easy to say, but it’s almost a century of doing a sporting activity. I am happy that national football is considered one of the three powers in the world”.
“The most important thing is to celebrate football.” said Becerril. “The goal of the game is to refine those details that are still loose with a view to our 2017 season; to present a really competitive team, already formed, with the last details of how will be our operation both offensive and defensively.”
“Most of our players have not played with 20.000 people in the stands. It will be something very important for them”, added Sanchez. “It’s goint to be a great game. A historic day.”
On 9th August will be the media day, while the kickoff will be on 12th August Saturday at noon time in Mexico DF.
